Springfield police looking for Boston Rd. bank robbery suspect

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield police are looking for a man who robbed a Boston Road bank on Tuesday morning.
Springfield Police Officer Richard Rodrigues told 22News that they have few details at this time about the robbery at the Hampden Bank branch at 977 Boston Road, which happened after 9:00 A.M.
Rodrigues said that the suspect is a Hispanic man, who was carrying a black handgun.
After police searched for clues in and around the branch, the bank re-opened for business.
