Springfield’s ‘CAFO’ Lee Erdmann resigns

Erdmann's last day of work will be December 21st

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - For the second time within one week, a high profile member has resigned from Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno's Administration.

Mayor Sarno announced that the city's first Chief Administrative & Financial Officer, Lee Erdmann, submitted his resignation Friday.
  
Erdmann came on board as Springfield's "CAFO" just under three years ago. He was earning 150-thosuand dollars per year.
    
Sarno thanked Erdmann and wished him well. Erdmann's last day of work will be December 21st.
   
Sarno's Communications Director, Thomas Walsh resigned from the administration this past Monday.
  
Neither men disclosed their reasons for resigning.
