Babysitter charged when child falls from window

A Hartford babysitter has been charged with risk of injury to a minor after a 2-year-old boy she was responsible for was found injured in a city street after falling from a window.

Man stabbed on Sumner Ave. in Spfld

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A 20 year old was rushed to the hospital after getting stabbed in front of 456 Sumner Ave.

Captain Cheryl Claprood told 22News it happened just before 11:00pm, Sunday.

The man told police he was walking on the street when he was approached by three other men.

There was an argument and the 20 year old was stabbed in the stomach.

He was taken to Baystate Medical Center.

The suspects, described as short Hispanic males, one with an orange tank top, took off down Oakland Street toward Dickinson.
