Stabbing outside Mardi Gras Club

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - As many as eight men may have been involved in a fight in the Mardi Gras Club parking lot early Saturday morning in the Springfield entertainment district on Worthington Street.
Detective Sgt. Thomas Zarelli told 22News the fight occurred just before the 2 o'clock bar closing time and resulted in two men being hurt, one seriously. That man was stabbed in the torso.
He's at Baystate Medical Center being treated. Sgt. Zarelli said he was seriously hurt but he will recover.
Detectives have yet to talk with the 28-year-old wounded man.
