STCC cancels classes due to heat

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Springfield Technical Community College has canceled both day and evening classes Monday because the extreme heat in the forecast.

Senior Director of Facilities Maureen Socha told 22News the school will be closed because of power plant and air conditioning issues.

Socha says the One Stop Enrollment scheduled for July 16 will continue to be held in the Student Success Center.
