WILBRAHAM, Mass. (WWLP) - Watching a high school football game is a Western Massachusetts Thanksgiving Day tradition.

Judy Duncan of Hampden never misses a Thanksgiving Day Minnechaug Regional High School game.

She said there's something about football serving as an appetizer for the big meal to follow.

Duncan said, “It's a Thanksgiving tradition. A thing to do, families come together. Alumnus coming to town. It's just a great morning.”

Judy Duncan's got a sneaking suspicion she and her family will also be up in the stands on

Thanksgiving Day 2013.
