WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Three people have been taken to the hospital following a crash on Interstate 91 involving a car and a tractor trailer truck.

Following the crash, just after 10:00 A.M. all three travel lanes were blocked, with traffic moving only through the breakdown lane. State Police then opened up the two right hand lanes before opening up the highway completely before noon.

State Police Trooper Johathan Bray told 22News that the three victims of the crash are expected to recover.
