BLANDFORD, Mass. (WWLP) - A truck fire has slowed traffic on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Blandford.

Trooper Robert Freniere of the Westfield State Police Barracks told 22News that drivers are moving in only one westbound lane between Exit 3 in Westfield and Exit 2 in Lee.

The fire has been put out, but there has since been a spill of fuel, which will have to be cleaned up.

Both lanes of I-90 westbound are expected to re-open shortly after noon in spite of the cleanup efforts.
