SOUTHWICK, Mass. (WWLP) - Some vandals in Southwick certainly weren’t in the holiday spirit, when they targeted a Christmas display on Granville Road.
Dick Carbonneau puts up a group of 15’ tall wooden reindeer on his property every year, but on Sunday morning, he and his neighbors discovered them damaged.
Southwick Police Lt. David Ricardi told 22News that the reindeer were well anchored to the ground, so the vandals cut them at the bottom portion of their legs; causing the deer to fall over.
At this point, Ricardi says that police have no leads, but they are looking for the public’s help. If you have any information, you are asked to call the Southwick Police at (413) 569-5348.
