VIDEO: Funeral Mass for Officer Kevin Ambrose

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Family, friends, fellow officers, and dignitaries attended a funeral Mass for fallen Springfield Police Officer Kevin Ambrose at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Springfield Friday morning.

    The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Joseph Sorrano, Pastor of St. Cecilia Parish in Wilbraham (Ambrose's home parish). Bishop Timothy McDonnell presided over the Mass, and gave the final blessing.

    Following the Mass, Ambrose was laid to rest at the nearby Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
