WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Westfield Police Capt. Hipolito Nunez spoke during a news conference on Thursday afternoon about the line-of-duty death of Officer Jose Torres.

Torres was a husband, father, and 27 year veteran of the Westfield Police Department. He died on Thursday after he was hit by a construction truck while working a construction detail on Pontoosic Road.
