SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Massachusetts has one of the most important senate races in the nation, as we're now less than two months from the November elections.
Democratic senate candidate Elizabeth Warren has opened up a six percentage point lead over republican senator Scott Brown in the race for the U.S. senate. That's according to the latest numbers from the Western New England University Polling Institute.
Due to the sample size there is a close to five percentage point margin of error. Brown has a strong lead among independent voters. Suffolk University will release its latest poll on Monday.
