RUSSELL, Mass. (WWLP) - This snowstorm wasn't a surprise, but can be a shock to our system.

Were more people enjoying or dreading the snow? It was pretty much a positive reaction with everyone we talked to.

22News took a trip on Route 20 from Westfield into Russell and Huntington.  Of course, the snow can create some problems or hazards if you have to walk in it, shovel it or even drive it in. Although - the people we talked to told 22News the pros outweighed the cons.

“A thrill, finally getting some snow, last year was kind of a bust,” said Michael Crochiere of Chester. “So I'm looking forward to having some snow to plow and play in.”

“I've been waiting all season for this,” said Susan Johnston of Montgomery. “It's beautiful, I'm so happy with it, of course I'm getting stuck everywhere. I've already had to be pushed out twice.”

22News was working for Susan with the help of two other nice guys- who helped push and shovel her out once.
