Westover Air Base conducting explosives training

CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - People who live near Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee can expect to hear some loud noises over the weekend.

Members of the 439th Airlift Wing's explosive ordnance disposal team will conduct several controlled detonations between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

E.O.D members regularly detonate explosives as part of their training requirements.
