MONSON, Mass. (WWLP) - Two men from Wilbraham who were arrested for a break-in in Monson over the weekend may be responsible for other burglaries in Monson and two nearby towns, police say.

In a news release, Monson Police Chief Stephen Kozloski notified 22News that Thomas Taylor, 22, and Dylan Gray, 22, face breaking and entering, larceny, receiving stolen property, and vandalism charges, following their arrest around noon Sunday.

According to Kozloski, police had been keeping Taylor and Gray under surveillance after they were identified as suspects in several recent burglaries where jewelry and precious metals were taken from homes. The Chief says that just before noon Sunday, police officers saw the two leaving a house on Reimers Road that they had broken into.

The two, who were arrested, had been out on bail after being arrested in Holyoke on Thursday.

Chief Kozloski says that Monson police have linked Taylor and Gray to an August 18 burglary on Butler Road, an August 29 burglary on Thayer Road, an August 30 burglary on Silver Street, and an attempted burglary on Zuell Hill Road on August 31. He says that they are also linked to burglaries in the neighboring towns of Palmer and Stafford, Connecticut.

The two are being held on $25,000 bail, and are scheduled for arraignment Monday in Palmer District Court.
