WNEU poll finds Warren holds lead over Brown

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The race for the US Senate seat is within the margin of error according to a brand new poll from the Western New England University Polling Institute.

The poll found Democrat Elizabeth Warren holding a four point lead over Republican Scott Brown.

The survey of more than 500 likely voters was conducted October 26th through November 1st in partnership with the Republican Newspaper.

Warren had 50 percent of the vote and Brown had 46 percent.

The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points.
