SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A pedestrian was hit by a car Friday night in Springfield.
Springfield Police Lt. Alberto Ayalla told 22News a woman in her 40's was hit by a minivan just after 9:30pm Friday night on State Street near the intersection with Concord.
Lt. Ayala said the victim was seriously injured and was taken to Baystate Medical Center.
No word on her condition.
The Southbound side of State Street in Mason Square is blocked off while police continue their investigation.
