CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - Wintry weather is in the forecast, but so far there is no winter storm warning or winter storm watch.

However, if you were traveling along Interstate 91 Wednesday, you may have noticed those electronic signs along the highway.

The signs said " WINTER STORM WARNING." 22News is working for you to find out why.

We called the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and spoke to Michael Verseckes, public affairs director. He told 22News that the " WINTER STORM WARNING" sign was a general traffic advisory, all for people's safety as the winter weather approaches.
