AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - 14 people, 13 of them students, were arraigned Tuesday morning in connection with that post-Super Bowl disturbance at UMass on Sunday night.

The 14 were in District Court in Belchertown to answer to charges which include failure to disperse and disorderly conduct.

They were arrested during the disturbance following the Super Bowl game.

An estimated 1,500 people gathered in a common area of the Southwest residential area after the New York Giants 21-17 win over the New England Patriots.

The 14 people who were in court today pled not guilty.  Pre-trial conferences have been set for March 1st and 2nd.
