NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Four men accused of raping a UMass student in her dorm room have been indicted by a Hampshire County Grand Jury.
Adam Liccardi, Justin King, and Emmanuel Bile, all 18 year-old Pittsfield residents, and Caleb Womack, 17, of Windsor Locks, Connecticut are charged with three counts of aggravated rape. Liccardi is facing an additional count of aggravated rape.
Prosecutors say that around 12:30 A.M. on October 13, the four were seen on surveillance video entering the victim’s dorm room, and three of them did not leave until 4:00 A.M. (Liccardi left later). During that time, Jennifer Suhl of the DA’s office says the victim was raped while she was intoxicated and drifting in and out of consciousness.
King, Bile, and Womack are expected to be arraigned at Hampshire Superior Court in Northampton on Monday. It is unclear at this time when Liccardi will be arraigned.
