BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (WWLP) - One of the six teens criminally charged in connection with the death of South Hadley High School student Phoebe Prince was in court Monday morning for drunk driving charges.
22News cameras were rolling as Ashley Longe appeared in Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown for a pre-trial conference.
South Hadley Police say that Longe was drunk when she allegedly hit a parked car on August 31. She was arrested on charges of operating under the influence and possession of liquor under the age of 21.
She will be back in court January 12.
Longe is one of six students accused of bullying the late Phoebe Prince. Longe is accused of throwing an energy drink at Prince the day she took her own life.
