SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - South Hadley Police have closed a section of Bridge Street after fire gutted a popular restaurant there.

There's not much left inside the "Crack of Dawn" restaurant at 20 Bridge Street.  Fire destroyed everything but the brick walls.  The fire stated a little before eight o'clock Monday night.

The "Crack of Dawn," which served breakfast and lunch, is at the corner of Bridge and Main Streets in South Hadley, just over the Veterans Bridge from Holyoke.

Fire fighters told 22News they have no reports of anyone hurt.  No word on a cause.
