Protestors spreading throughout country

Many are likening the movement to the climate of the 1960s when filling the streets in protest was a common, but some still aren't sure it's getting the message across.

They're angry and they're gathering by the thousands across the country and here in western Massachusetts.

The message these groups are rallying around, 99 percent of the population taking action against the greed and corruption of the one percent, some say it's about time.

“That it’s taken this long for people to get really angry about profiteering on Wall Street and the way the bankers drove our economy into a ditch," Hosie Baskin told 22news.

I'm glad that it's happening at last and I hope that it turns into some real political changes."

But others aren't sure people understand the message and are organized enough to get it across.

"I do give them support and credit but as far as their effort and I don't want to sound too harsh but it almost seems frivolous you really have to infiltrate and make yourself the reason why change is going to happen,” said Anthony Brock.

In fact a lot of people don't know where it's happening I can't tell you how many people have come past me with signs asking do you know where the protest is at," A Vietnam Veteran told 22news. "I might not believe in everything they say but I'll listen to what they say; I think it's a very important right in our country to have that right to protest.”

I definitely think that it's healthy for people to express themselves in however they feel obviously a lot of people are upset with how things are going so I think it's a beautiful thing that we're able to do it and I'm all for expressing yourself," Cass Haley told 22news.

More than one hundred people were arrested at the occupy Boston protest early this morning, not for being rowdy but for tying up traffic.
