WARE, Mass. (WWLP) - A fundraiser was held at Veterans Park in the town of Ware Saturday.
Veteran’s who live in this Eastern Hampshire county community, will benefit from the chair in the square event.
Haircuts, the services of massage therapists, along with a bake sale, were efforts to raise money for the Ware Veteran’s Council Programs.
Jennifer Baker says, “New and old veterans in need of oil, food, paying bills, care repairs, any assistance that they need.”
Jennifer Baker also told 22News, the chair in the square fundraiser was first held last year during the town of Ware's 250th anniversary celebration.
