Accident closes road in Amherst
South East Street is closed at Hulst Road

AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - South East Street is closed at Hulst Road in Amherst until the Western Mass Electric Company can replace a utility pole.
Lt. Bob O'Conner told 22News that just after 7PM Monday, a car struck a utility pole near South East and Bay Street.
The driver was arrested for drunk driving.
Nobody was injured and no power outages were reported.
