NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - A picture may be worth a thousand words, but for Northampton police the picture of a bank robbery suspect has been worth the arrest of the alleged bandit.
33-year-old Thadius Romaniwski of 579 Northampton Street in Holyoke was reportedly arrested early Saturday morning at his apartment.
The police had earlier given 22News the picture of this man in the event someone might recognize him.
Police charged Romanoiwski with unarmed robbery in the holdup of Florence Savings Bank in Northampton Friday afternoon.
Police Lt. Michael Patenaude told 22News that the hold up man gave the teller a note demanding money, and the man did get some money.
