BELCHERTOWN, Mass. (WWLP) - Two former Belchertown High School students are facing criminal charges following an investigation into an alleged “hit list” that police say was posted on Facebook back in November.

Belchertown Police Chief Fran Fox told 22News that one former student was charged with a single count of threat to commit a crime, and the other student was charged with two counts of threat to commit a crime.

The teens were arraigned on January 19 at the Franklin/Hampshire County Juvenile Court in Hadley. Both Belchertown Police Chief Fox and the spokesperson for the Northwest District Attorney's office told 22News that they are not releasing any other details of this case because of the suspects' ages.
