NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - For many who can't be home for the holidays, Christmas can be a rough reminder of the distance.
At the Edwards Church in Northampton anyone was welcome today to join a community meal.
A comfort for those who are missing loved ones.
Howard Palmer told 22News “I’d rather be with my children. I'm homeless and I can't be with my daughter or my girlfriend this is a nice place and I appreciate what they do for us."
The church along with the Manna Soup kitchen do this for Thanksgiving as well.
