CHESTERFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Hilltown Community Development Corporation has received a $75,000 federal grant to support services for seniors.

The grant will support the Hilltown Elder Network and provide in-home chore and transportation assistance to 40 low-income seniors.

Services will include household assistance, cleaning, laundry, snow removal and transportation to medical appointments.

Congressman John Olver says the grant will allow seniors to live comfortably and independently in their own homes.
