Four Amherst apartments damaged by fire

No one was reported injured

AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) - Apartment build on 162 East Hadley Road in Amherst leaves several residents homeless.

Four apartments were severely damaged. The fire started in the bedroom of one of the apartments.

No one has been reported injured.

According to Northampton Fire Chief Tib Nelson the cause of the fire was due to an improper disposal of a smoking material.
