Granby police crack down on drunk drivers

GRANBY, Mass. (WWLP) - Granby Police are cracking down on drunk drivers.

Sgt. Kevin O'Grady told 22News officers will be out in full force over the next few weeks as part of the national "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" mobilization.

The increased patrols have been funded by a federal grant from the Executive Office of Public Safety.

Sgt. O'Grady says the patrols will combine traffic enforcement with community outreach to help reduce motor-vehicle related deaths and injuries.
