Fire started after 7:00pm on West Parkview Dr

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - A fire in South Hadley destroyed the 2nd floor of a home.

South Hadley fire captain James Pula told 22News at least one person was home when the fire started; no one was hurt.

It started a little after 7:00pm on West Parkview Drive. Captain Pula told 22News, he wasn't sure how many people live there, but they weren't going to be able to get back in Friday night.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating; however, Pula says they are not considering it suspicious at this time.
