Jeb Daly of Huntington charged with murder of Jessica Dana

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Jeb Daly of Huntington is being charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend, 30 year-old Jessica Dana, less than a week after her killing.

Dana was reported missing last Saturday, about a day after she was last seen by family and friends who gathered at their Rocky Brook Drive home.

Following a search by state police, family, and friends, the mother of three’s lifeless body was found inside a cardboard box behind the house the next day.

Daly was arrested Sunday night and charged with charges of improper disposal of a body and misleading authorities . He is currently being held in the Hampshire County Jail and House of Corrections.

The murder charge comes after the medical examiner’s report determined that Dana was killed in a homicide . He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment on the murder charge in Northampton District Court on Friday afternoon.

This is not the first time Daly has faced criminal charges. He served jail time in New Jersey for armed robbery, receiving stolen property, and burglary.
