Mountain Road to close at 3:00 A.M. Friday

EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - In anticipation of Friday’s winter storm, Easthampton police are planning to close Mountain Road (Route 141).

The roadway will be closed starting at 3:00 A.M. Friday, and will not re-open until further notice.

One of the main routes into Easthampton, Mountain Road is often closed during snowstorms due to the difficulty of driving down the steep roadway in inclement weather.
