Northampton pedestrian accident victim dies 12 days after Halloween crash

35-year-old Pallav Parakh died Monday

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - The victim of a Halloween pedestrian accident in Northampton has died.

Northwestern District Attorney's Office spokeswoman Mary Carey told 22News that 35 year old Pallav Parakh died Monday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Parakh was hit while crossing New South Street, late Halloween afternoon.  He suffered critical head injuries, and died a dozen days after the accident.

While police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident, no charges have been filed so far against the driver.
