Quilts of valor presented to veterans

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - A warm honor for several veterans at the VA Hospital in Northampton.

Nine quilts of valor were presented Friday. The quilts were made and donated by employees and customers at Quilts and Treasures in East Longmeadow.

Mindy Camyre of East Longmeadow told 22News,"It's wonderful; it's a wonderful feeling to come up here and know that I have a truck full of quilts that are going to people well-deserving."

Each of these quilts takes an average of 10 to 15 hours to complete.
