NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Both lanes of I-91 northbound that were closed following a tractor-trailer rollover are now open.

At around 2:15 Wednesday morning, a tractor trailer somehow veered off the highway, crossed the breakdown lane and rolled down an embankment just past mile marker 23 on I-91, which is just north of Exit 18.

State Police Trooper Rafael Cazares of the Northampton Barracks told 22News that a man was rescued at around 3:15 Wednesday morning and taken to Baystate Medical Center.

No word on the extent of his injuries, but he is expected to survive.
