Santa Claus arrives in Northampton

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Santa Claus stopped by the Hotel Northampton on Friday to greet children who are already ready for Christmas.

Kris Kringle and his elves took pictures and enjoyed fresh baked cookies with western Massachusetts families.

Many kids told 22News that it's never too early to think about their wish lists and their Christmas traditions.

“I get up, we take a quick picture, and we run downstairs to our stockings, and then we do presents,” Ella Masenior of Hatfield said.

“We just enjoy the holidays,” Jacob Masenoir said. “There are lots of things that lead up to it. Kids look forward to it every year, so bring them out every year.”

Leading up to the holidays, the Hotel Northampton is collecting Toys for Tots donations. The donation box will be there until December 17.
