Water main break on Jackson Street in Northampton

Street closed from Prospect to Barrett

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Northampton police have blocked-off part of Jackson Street due to a water main break there.

The street is closed from Barrett Street to Prospect Street as a result of the break, which was reported before 7:00 A.M.

Residents of that stretch of Jackson Street are currently without water.

Crews are working to fix the break, but it is not clear at this time exactly when the repair will be complete.
