(WWLP) - The President's pitch to the American people one year later. 22News inFocus takes a closer look at President Obama's State of the Union address and how his proposals can help you.

President Obama unveiled several plans including those intended to help families afford child care, save for retirement, pay off student loans and care for elderly parents.

Plus, he announced a spending freeze in an effort to deal with the 1.4 trillion dollar deficit for this year.

We have three guests this Sunday, including accountant, Andy Pignatare of Pignatare and Sagan out of West Springfield. He will explain Obama's proposed tax credits for small businesses.

Joan Kagan, President and CEO of Square One in Springfield will talk about how President Obama's tax credits will help middle class families pay for child care.

Douglas Fish, Associate Vice President for Financial Services at American International College, will break down how President Obama plans to help college students with loan payments.
