CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - On Friday, December 14th an unthinkable tragedy happened in Newtown, Connecticut.
A gunman killed his own mother, then went to an elementary school and killed dozens more people, including 20 children.
This tragedy has shaken not only residents of the Newtown community, people here in Western Massachusetts are talking about it, as well as people around the world.
Many people asking themselves why? Wondering how this could've happened, how this is impacting children and what we can do moving forward to prevent it from happening again.
