SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - Lots of people woke up Friday ready to wear their red, but some took it to the next level.
Managers at Jiffy Lube wore red dresses Friday. They stood out on the streets outside of their businesses - hoping to get people to come in and donate to American Heart Association's Go Red for Women movement.
While it's not something they do everyday, the managers told 22News they do enjoy getting dressed up for a good cause.
"We've had a lot of fun out here on the street today. People were getting a big kick out of it. People were honking their horns and waves at us and stuff like that, I don't wear a dress everyda," said Art Flanagan, General Manager of Jiffy Lube.
Anyone who donated to the cause got a coupon book to Jiffy Lube.
