Tips to eat right on Thanksgiving

It's easy to overindulge on Thanksgiving goodies, but 22News has tips on how you can enjoy this holiday without all the calories.

The best trick is to load up on turkey and veggies. If you fill up on the healthy stuff, you won't have any room for the stuffing and mashed potatoes.

Also, use portion control.

You eat with your stomach not your eyes so put a little less on your plate than you'd like and you'll probably realize you're full off less.

Finally, stay away from liquid calories like sugary cocktails, cider, or the worse: eggnog.

So if you already overindulged, or still plan to, don't worry so did everyone at 22News.
