Toys for Tots drive kicks off this week

Every year Toys for Tots campaigns across the country collect thousands of toys for needy children.

Military volunteers, who work with the United States Marine Corps, will be collecting new, unwrapped toys.

All the toys collected will be given away as Christmas gifts to needy children here in western Mass., making sure no child goes without a gift this holiday season.

The toy drive kicks off Monday morning at the 22News studios in Chicopee and continues until December 11th.

Last year, the " Toys for Tots " holiday drive collected more than 50-thousand toys for needy kids in western Massachusetts.
