NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - Smith College admits they don't have enough swine flu vaccines for everyone, but students say they're not that worried.
But the American College Health Association says swine flu has infiltrated 97 percent of colleges and universities. And once it's on campus it's very easily spread in dorms.
In fact, most students 22News talked to at Smith said they know students who have or have gotten swine flu.
Kayla Carpenzano, a student at Smith College, even explained how the college deals with the virus if a student contracts it.
"What happens is if you get it you stay in your room if you have a single room and there's an area to be quarantined if you have a roommate or something like that."
She says it's a system that's working, but if swine flu continues to spread, quarantining may not be the most effective method of prevention.
