MA home to receive "Extreme Makeover"

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - Extreme Makeover is coming to Western Massachusetts.

Today hundreds of people gathered at Baypath College in Longmeadow for a pep rally to welcome the show and prepare to build a home for one local family in need.

The location of the house and the family is still top secret, but Kent Pecoy of Pecoy Signature
Homes will build the house.

He said he didn't hesitate when the show's producers called about getting involved.

Building starts in just nine days. On Sunday, June 21st, the show's host, Ty Pennington, will knock on the door of the chosen family who will get a brand new home.
