SPRINGFIELD, Mass.(WWLP) - Schools might soon need parental consent to teach sex education.
A new bill would require schools to get written permission from parents if they want to teach sex ed to kids.
Some parents are divided on whether their consent is needed.
Tamara Taylor says, “Everybody doesn't believe in the same thing, some might wait until another point to tell their child about sex education.”
The bill is set for debate Thursday.
