The affiliated chambers of commerce held their monthly breakfast Wednesday morning.
Political consultant Tony Cignoli gave the crowd his outlook on local elections, and three local businesses were saluted including Shriners Hospital for Children.
The hospital has made a comeback after being in a tough financial position earlier this year.
Mark Niederpruem credits community outpouring and fundraisers to what he calls a rebirth for Shriners.
Mercy Medical Center and Minutemen Press were also honored.
