CHICOPEE, Mass (WWLP) - If you're looking to do some last minute errands today, 22News let's you know what's open and what's not.

Some smaller places like Family Wireless in Chicopee, and Rinaldi's Restuarant in Longmeadow are planning on taking the day off.

But as far as the grocery stores go, both Stop & Shop and Big Y will be open for business from 7am until 11pm Saturday.

Walmart will switch to Sunday hours and will be open from 7am until 6pm.

And if you're in need of some independence day "spirits," Table and Vine is also staying open this weekend, as well as the Longmeadow Package Store.

"It's normal hours, 9am to 10pm," says Vanna Sin, an employee at the Longmeadow Package Store, "and we're hoping that there's going to be a crowd, um it was kinda slow today so we're hoping people will come in tomorrow."

"Because it's the 4th of July, we usually do close down our restaurants and we all take like a week of vacation," explains Lori Pacholski, who works at Rinaldi's. "We usually would close down on a Sunday, but with Saturday being the 4ht of July we're starting tomorrow. So we have a nice ten days off."

The Eastfield Mall will be open from noon until 5pm both days this weekend and the Holyoke Mall will close at 6pm Saturday night.
