SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - It was a pretty damp Saturday afternoon for residents living at one apartment complex in Springfield after a water main break caused flooding to the area.
Residents living in the Eastbrook apartments on Fernbank Road in Springfield had to deal with a barrage of water.
A water pipe broke and flooded the parking lot of the apartment complex.
Residents were without water for many hours.
Ed Verallis from Springfield says, “I came outside to see what was going on cause we can't cause this has been a major problem over the year it's uncomfortable for all of us here because we can't do anything until they fix it.”
22News called the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission but no one was available to make a comment.
The residents at the complex told 22News this is not the first
water main break they've had to deal with on Fernbank Road this
year.
